Mountain Guide - Fassa Guide
Ski Instructor - Italian Ski School Campitello di Fassa

The mountain has always been the protagonist of my life, since when, still as a child, I started walking among the woods, dreaming of the high peaks, in the company of my grandfather, expert mountain guide, or with my father, lover of the altitude and verticality.

Even the love of skiing and climbing was born in those years: I remember that I was delighted to climb rocks with some school friend, but it was still far from me the respect to the mountain and the awareness of what I would have become. My father, noticing the passion with which I climbed, but worried about the lightness with which I did, he asked his dear friend Bruno Pederiva, great mountain guide, to take me with him to do a multipitch tour. The Vajolet Towers were my first achievements in quote! From that moment I learned the art of climbing, facing the mountain with naked hands and open-heart.

And it was during one of our excursions that I saw alpine rescuers in training for the first time: it was love at first sight and I understood that I wanted to become also a rescuer. Therefore, little more than an adolescent, the station chief Antonio Zulian allowed me to participate in some training, and after the necessary training process I became technical operator of the mountain rescue, within which I held various roles. For a couple of years I was part of the canine unit of mountain rescue, specialized in the use of dogs for the avalanche search. Later I chose to pass on what I had learned over time, becoming a regional mountain rescue instructor.

What I am today is the fruit of years of work, constant commitment and sacrifices that led me to transform the passion for the mountains into a profession and a style of life.
