The excursion starts from the parking lot in Longiarù, at an elevation of 1536 meters. We climb up th e street that crosses the valley and brings up ro the wide slopes high above the valley. Heading west, among typical alpine cottages, we reach Malga Medalges and, going on towards Forcella Furcia (2293 meters), we reach the top of the mountain.

The incredible view stretching wide to the Puez-Odle Range, is really impressive. The descent is extremely fun; skiing down through the slopes just below the peak we get back to the climb route and to te starting point.

The ski mountaineering excursion to Munt da Medalges (Mount Juval) features a 900 meters elevation gain and loss. It is rated as F (Easy). Maximum incline is 30 degrees.

Participants Anyone over the age of 15, with an adequate level of training and fitness, can participate in this experience.
