Information about the off-piste skiing to the Sella Couloirs

We begin our excursion by boarding the Sass Pordoi cable car taking us to Rifugio Maria at an altitude of 2950 meters, one of the most panoramic spots in the Dolomites. Once we reach the summit and take the first exciting off-piste ski run there are so many couloirs to choose from: Forcella Pordoi, Joel Couloir, Holzer, Couloir Val Mezdì, Val Lasties, Val delle Fontane, etc...

After the first run we take the lift to go back up and continue the adventure along a second, then a third itinerary for a uniquely intense and thrilling day with off-piste skiing and different runs all the time.

The off-piste skiing to the Sella couloirs has an elevation loss of 3000 to 4000 meters on three runs and sections of regular runs when negotiating in-between transfers. It requires good training and mastering of technical skiing skills because of its BS (Good Skier) rating. Maximum incline is 50 degrees.
