This interesting itinerary does not start from the base of the mountain but it begins detaching a little from a stopping point of the Micheluzzi climbing route (of which it could actually be considered a variation) right at the base of the famous traverse.

The Diedro Buhl climbing route in the Sella group is a beautiful path whose direction is dictated by a well visible yellow dihedron in the middle of Mount Piz Ciavazes, underneath ledge Cengia dei camosci. The climb is technical and thrilling and it provides optimally equipped stopping points.
