This rock climbing route ranks among the great classics. It was opened in 1934 by R. Cassin, L. Pozzi and G. Vitali. It features a technical itinerary, adequately bolted with pitons and good belays. The Cassin climbing route runs 9 lengths for 350 meters on good and solid rock and is nicely cleaned over by the many previous redos. The climb has a VII-/A0 level of difficulty with a V+ average and mandatory VI. The descent calls for a some double-rope rappels.
