The approach starts from Rifugio Paolina-Paolinahütte, at an elevation of 2125 meters, also reachable with the chair lift. Through a marvelous trail heading north we reach Passo Vajolon and the attack of the via ferrata. The descent takes place through the green south-east slope until Rifugio Roda di Vael-Rotwandhütte and then all the way to Rifugio Paolina through a wonderful trail.
