Relaxing ascent that starts directly from the village of Campitello di Fassa and goes up through valley Val Duron; the trekking reaches the marvelous flat pastures -where chalet Baita Lino Brach rises- that offer a spectacular view on Mount Molignon, on the Mount Sella Range and on Mount Marmolada. This hike develops in a very solar environment and is perfect for kids and families.
The trekking excursion in Val Duron to Chalet Baita Lino Brach starts in the parking lot of the bottom station of the Col Rodella cable car in Campitello di Fassa. The path starts crossing the village; it goes up to Saints Philip and James Church and it reaches the characteristic hamlet of Pian where the typical local architecture sends the hikers back in time.
The trekking, then, takes the forest track that leads to chalet Baita Fraines. A variation of trail number 532 will lead the hikers through a spruce woods that still shows evidences of the storm that hit Trentino in October 2018. The path reaches Rifugio Micheluzzi (1'860 meters) and it enters flat vallley Val Duron before reaching characteristic chalet Baita Lino Brach (1'856 meters), recently renovated.
The descent takes place through the climb route without taking the variation of trail number 532.
