The itinerary of this great classic route climbs mostly along the northeast spur, overlooking at times in some sections the impressive north face of the Cima Grande. The Spigolo Dibona rock climbing route features a nice and well-paced climb up to the top of the tower at 2999 meters.

The Spigolo Dibona was opened in 1909 by A. Dibona e E. Stubler. It is a rock classic route that should never be missing from the achievements of any climber, both for the beauty and the spellbinding environment of the climb. It features an even itinerary, elegant and rewarding, unfolding on great rock. It consists of 13 lengths for 500 meters, reaching up to the great circular ledge of the Cima Grande. The route continues for four more lengths leading to the fore-summit, or up to the summit on the Normal Route. The climb rates IV+ maximum difficulty. The descent requires a few double-rope rappels and a climb along the Normal Route.
