The ski mountaineering excursion to Col Bechèr features a charming hike developing within a solitary and wild hike within Alta Val Franzedàs, west side of Marmolada. The hike pledges breath-taking views along the whole tour and a beautiful off-piste ski descent.
The excursion starts from Malga Ciapela by the camping area. In mild declivity we climb through Val Franzedàs until underneath Valle Ombretta. We keep climbing through a trail until we reach a plain. As the declivity grows we climb up the woods until the farmsteads of Franzedàs, at an elevation of 1980 meters.
Through some sweet slopes and a very pleasant wood we reach the meadows of Alta Val Franzedàs before going back on the trail that crosses the valley. Heading to Forca Rossa we face a steeper stretch that leads to Passo di Col Bechèr and a thrilling traverse that will bring us to the summit of the Mount, at an elevation of 2444 meters. The ski descent takes place through the climb route.
