The ski mountaineering excursion to Forcella del Laghet in the Marmolada-Cima Uomo range starts from the Rifugio Flora Alpina parking lot (Passo San Pellegrino), at an elevation of 1849 meters. Passed the Rifugio Fuciade and the Casoni di Valfredda, we keep climbing through the valley following creek Rio Zigole and entering, then, Val di Tasca. The last steeper stretch will lead us to Forcella del Laghet, at an elevation of 2765 meters, between Mount Sasso di Tasca and Mount Cima Uomo.

The descent develops through the South side and often provides transformed snow. It is a spectacular and thrilling ski ride along steep and then easier slopes.

The ski mountaineering excursion to Forcella Del Laghet features a 1000 meters elevation gain and loss. It requires good training and mastering of technical skills of ski mountaineering and is rated as BSA (Good Ski Mountaineer). Maximum incline is 40 degrees.
