The ski mountaineering excursion to the summit of Mount Sas dla Para, or Cima Lavinores, in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, is a really spectacular experience. From the peak we get a wide and unimaginable view on some of the most famous mountains in the Dolomites.
The excursion starts from rifugio Pederü, at an elevation of 1548 meters, through a nice trail that leads to rifugio Fodara Vedla (1966 meters). The climb, then, proceeds developing through the foot of the north side of Mount Sas dla Para to a little col. Then, through the east crest, we climb up to the top of the mountain, at an elevation of 2411 meters. The descent is very enjoyable and it takes place through the climb route or along the slopes further north.
