The Marmolada Normal Route is a thrilling ascent that leads to the summit of Mount Punta Penia, the highest peak in the Marmolada Range and in the Dolomites, through a charming high mountain itinerary among rock, ice, snow and crevasses.

From the summit, at an elevation of 3343 meters, the views stretches out at 360° giving spectacular view on all the Dolomites.

Information about the Marmolada Normal Route

The Marmolada Normal Climbing Route does not feature relevant technical issues; it features an ascent in roped party with crampons and pick through the glacier and an equipped stretch of climb on rock that leads to the upper ridge and to the summit Cross. There is a 730 meter elevation gain from Rifugio Pian dei Fiacconi through Passo Fedaia reched by trail (1280 meters for the whole excursion).
