Information about the hiking in Val Monzoni

The hikers will meet in Pozza di Fassa in the hamlet of Meida, right in front of Camping Vidor. From there the path starts on the forest track that skirts the brook until chalet Malga Crocifisso ("Chalet Crucifix", 1'522 meters). Taking, then, forest track number 603 that goes up towards valley Val Monzoni, the hikers will pass the remains of chalet Baita Monzoni, destroyed by a fire some years ago, and they will enter valley Val Monzoni.

Going up through the valley the path gets to chalet Malga Monzoni where it is possible to buy local cheeses. The vicinity of Mount Ruf di Munciogn and the tranquil and relaxing environment make this trekking excursion particularly good for families with kids. The descent takes place through the climb route.
