This long excursion goes through the whole valley Val Duron all the way to the slopes of Mount Denti di Terra Rossa, an incredible series of dolomitic pinnacles. After passing Passo Duron, isolated rises Rifugio Alpe di Tires, a little technolocical gem recently renovated. Particularly interesting also from the historical and cultural points of view, valley Val Duron features several farmsteads and chalets that still show the classic Ladin architecture .

The hiking in Val Duron to Rifugio Alpe di Tires starts in the parking lot of the bottom station of the Col Rodella cable car in Campitello di Fassa.

After crossing the Campitello village the hikers will go up towards Rifugio Micheluzzi (1'860 meters). Once they reach the rifugio they will follow trail number 532 and the hikers will enter flat valley Val Duron. After going through the long valley the path reaches the slopes of Mount Molignon.

The hikers will, then, go up towards Passo Duron and, through trail number 4, they will reach Rifugio Alpe di Tires (2'440 meters), right under the mountainous range of the Denti di Terra Rossa.

The descent of the hiking in Val Duron takes place through the climb route.
