Fedele climbing route to Sass Pordoi is a very beautiful and classic route that climbs up on an impressive mountain wall. The rock is always very good, also thanks to the "cleaning" action of the several repetitions. One of the "landmarks" of the climb is the crossing -in two different points- of a marvelous waterfall. The views that surround the climbers during the ascent are incredibly rewarding.

The Fedele climbing route was opened on August 1st 1929 by Giorgio Masè Dari and Fedele Bernard.

This very beautiful itinerary develops along the right edge of the huge mountain wall blackened by the water that rises at the exit of valley Val Lasties. The path climbs up going right and left from the visible black dripping line and it develops through a logical sequence of ramps and dihedrons.

It is an extremely evocative and rewarding climb of medium difficulty, among the most loved and popular of the whole mountainous range. The rock is very good and the nailing is adequate. A development of 740 meters features 17 lengths and a duration of seven hours. The Fedele climbing route is rated V° maximum level of difficulty.

Participants Anyone over the age of 15, with an adequate level of training and fitness, can participate in this experience.
